George W. Bush hits the South Carolina campaign trail for Jeb




NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Sixteen years ago, South Carolina established George W. Bush as the unmistakable front-runner for the 2000 Republican presidential nomination. This year, his brother, Jeb Bush, hopes the state's primary will revive his struggling presidential campaign.

The two brothers appeared together — the first time this cycle — at an evening rally here in North Charleston, South Carolina, as candidates campaigned in a final, frantic sprint ahead of the state's Feb. 20 primary.
