In-form Fabio Borini targets revenge over Liverpool after Chelsea and Man City goals
FABIO BORINI has set his sights on a scoring against his former club Liverpool after his unhappy spell at Anfield.
The Italian made just 38 appearances and scored three goals for the Reds in two seasons, separated by a loan move to Sunderland.
The 24-year-old made a permanent switch to the Black Cats in the summer after rejecting a move the previous year.
And
after two goals in consecutive games at Chelsea and Manchester City,
Borini is eager to make a point against his former club.
"Obviously, the goals give you a little bit of confidence," he said.
"But at the end of the day, all that matters is the result.
"Yes, I’d like to score against Liverpool. More than anyone else.
