Yanga set for Mauritius acclimatization
Yanga squad
Young Africans SC squad intend to fly to Mauritius three days before playing in the African Champions League preliminary round, first leg match against hosts Cercle de Joachim.
Club sources said yesterday that the side plans to jet off Wednesday to have enough time for acclimatization.
The team will use tomorrow’s premier league match against JKT Ruvu to prepare for the top continental club competition set for next Saturday at the Curepipe Stadium in Curepipe.
Yanga coach Hans van der Pluijm believes that the match against the army side will prepare their team strongly to win the first leg.
Yanga who lead the league with 40 points from 17 games, drew 2-2 in their last premier league match against Tanzania Prisons last Wednesday at the Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.
