Easter Comedy!!! Basketmouth, DKB, Hogan and more for ‘Lord of the Ribs’, April 4

Some of Africa’s comedy greats are set to headline this year’s ‘Lord of the Ribs’ comedy event in Accra on April 4. The pack of comedians will be led by Nigeria’s Basketmouth, who is undoubtedly the best comedian in Africa. Basketmouth is not coming to Ghana alone. He will come along with sensational Sim Card, now a force to reckon with when it comes comedy in Africa. The night does not belong to Nigeria alone. Like a life and death battle, Ghana’s hottest comedian DKB will hold the fort for the country. The Ghanaian, who is currently on top of his game has promised to give patrons a night of unrivalled comedy come Saturday, April 4, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Apart from Baskmouth, Sim Card and DKB, other comedians billed to mount the stage to equally share in the comedy the show include Hogan, and the Two Idiots. Alhassan Nabil, Executive Director of Event Factory Ghana Limited, organizers of the event explained to Myjoyonline.com that ‘Lord of the Ribs’ has been well packaged to give patrons the best in Africa comedy.
“They should expect the best comedy and music. In a nutshell, good entertainment. I personally task each person to give his best to cement the event as one of the best in the system. Basketmouth undoubtedly is Africa’s best and he is very excited to do this particular edition with us.”
Meanwhile comedian, who has won the confidence of comedy lovers since his performance at the 1018 Laughs and Comedy Series last year, is hopeful to give patrons a piece of the craft that has endeared him to many in recent times. He told The Mirror on Tuesday that it wasn’t for nothing that ace comedian and host of Thank God is Friday, KSM, crowned him “ King of Comedy” in the year under review on his show, and for such an honour done his brand he was prepared to defend the title at the upcoming event.
“Thank God Ghanaians now have hope in me for being one of the best comedians at the moment. The night is going to be a great one as I will be sharing jokes on different topics. I want to prove to Ghanaians that the Nigerian comedians are not better than us,” he said
